2. Navigate to Recruitment Section:
 On the homepage, click on the “Opportunities @ RBI” tab.
3. Select the Recruitment Link: 
Click on the link that says “Recruitment of Officers in Grade B (DR) – 2026”.
4. Registration: 
Click on “New Registration” . Enter your basic details (Name, Mobile Number, Email ID). A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be sent to your registered email/mobile.
5. Fill the Application Form: 
Log in using your credentials and fill out the detailed application form (Educational qualification, address, experience, etc.).
6. Upload Documents: 
Upload a scanned copy of your photograph (20 KB to 50 KB) and signature (10 KB to 20 KB) in the prescribed format (JPEG/JPG).
7. Pay the Fee: 
Pay the application fee online (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking). Ensure the payment is successful and note the transaction ID.
8. Submit and Print: 
After payment, submit the application. Do not forget to click “Submit” . Finally, download the Application Print and keep a hard copy for future reference

Selection Process and Examination Phases/RBI Grade B 60 Posts 2026

1. Phase-I (Preliminary Examination): 
This is an online objective screening test. It is qualifying in nature. Your marks here are not counted for the final selection merit.
2. Phase-II (Main Examination):
 This is an online examination comprising both Objective and Descriptive papers. Marks obtained in Phase-II are crucial for final selection.
3. Interview: 
Candidates who clear the Phase-II cut-off are called for a personal interview worth 75 marks
Final selection is based on the aggregate marks obtained in Phase-II (Mains) + Interview

RBI Grade B offers one of the highest pay scales in the government sector. Based on the latest 7th Pay Commission revisions, the pay scale is:
Revised Pay Scale (2026): ₹ 78,450 – 4,050(9) – 1,14,900 – EB – 4,050(2) – 1,23,000 – 4,650(4) – 1,41,600 (16 years)
In-Hand Salary: After deductions, an RBI Grade B Officer takes home approximately ₹ 81,000 to ₹ 86,000 per month
Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Family Allowance.

No. You must have completed your graduation and possess the degree certificate by the specified date in the notification [0†L36-L39].

2. Is there negative marking in the RBI Grade B Exam?

Yes. For both Phase-I and Phase-II (Objective papers), there is a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer [4†L7-L9]

3. Is the RBI Grade B exam bilingual (Hindi & English)?
