1. I missed the application deadline in 2025. Can I apply now using the correction form?
No. The correction window is only for candidates who already applied between 12 August and 12 September 2025. New applications are not being accepted
2. I made a mistake in my Date of Birth. Can I correct it?
Generally, critical details like Date of Birth are not editable in the correction window. However, you should log in and check. If the field is locked, you may need to contact UPPSC support directly
3. The correction window is open until 27th March. Should I wait?
No. Correct your form immediately. Waiting might lead to server issues or last-minute panic
4. I forgot to pay the fee last year. Can I pay it now during correction?
No. The fee payment was mandatory for the application to be processed. If you didn’t pay the fee in September 2025, your application was rejected, and the correction window cannot revive it
5. What is the qualification for the Jail Training School post?
For the 2 posts in Jail Training School:
Psychology: Master‘s in Psychology (with specialization in Criminal Psychology).
Criminology: Master‘s in Sociology/Social Work/Anthropology with Criminology papers
6. Is B.Ed. compulsory for everyone?
Yes, a B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution is mandatory for most general Lecturer posts in GICs
