If you are one of the candidates scheduled to appear on April 2 or 4, 2026, your hall ticket is now available for download. For those with later exam dates (April 5–8), the admit cards will be released shortly.

How to Apply/NTA JEEMain Session II Admit Card
| 1. Visit the Official Website: Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in |
| 2. New Registration: Click on the link for “JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration”. Fill in your basic details to generate your application number and password |
| 3. Login and Fill Form: Log in with your credentials. Fill out the detailed application form, including personal details, address, and academic qualifications |
| 4. Select Exam Details: Choose your preferred paper (B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Planning), exam center city, and medium of the question paper |
| 5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph (80% face visible, white background) and signature as per the specifications |
| 6. Fee Payment: Pay the application fee through online mode |
| 7. Submit and Print: Submit the form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future records |

1.I have my exam on April 5. Can I download my admit card now?
No, the admit card has currently been released only for candidates whose exams are on April 2 and April 4. Admit cards for exams on April 5, 6, 7, and 8 will be released in due course, likely 3 days before the respective exam date
2.What documents do I need to carry to the exam center?
You must carry the printed copy of the admit card, a passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the form), and a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or School ID)
3.What if my QR code or barcode is not printing clearly on the admit card?
The NTA advises that you must ensure the QR code and barcode are clearly printed on your admit card while downloading. If it appears unclear, you should print it again using a better printer or setting
4.I passed my 12th in 2023. Can I apply for JEE Main 2026?
No. Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2024, 2025, or those appearing in 2026 are eligible. If you passed in 2023 or earlier, you are not eligible for JEE Main 2026
5.Is there a negative marking in the numerical value questions?
No. There is no negative marking for Section B (Numerical Value) questions. Negative marking only applies to Section A (MCQs)
6.I forgot my application number. How can I retrieve it?
On the official website, click on the “Forgot Application Number” link on the login page. You will need to enter your name, date of birth, and registered mobile number/email to retrieve it
7. Will I get a chance to correct mistakes in my application form?
Yes, the NTA usually opens a correction window for a few days after the registration closes. For Session II, the correction window was expected in the 1st-2nd week of March
8.What happens if I have applied for both Session I and Session II?
The NTA will consider your best NTA score from either of the two sessions to prepare your final rank and All India Rank (AIR)
9.Is Aadhaar card mandatory for registration?
Yes, as per the Information Bulletin, the Aadhaar Card is mandatory for candidates applying for JEE Main 2026, except for candidates from the states of Assam, Meghalaya, and Jammu & Kashmir
