The NTA UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is a national-level exam conducted to determine eligibility for:

RF: Maximum 30 years (as of June 1, 2025). Age relaxation applies: OBC/EWS: 3 years SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: 5 years Women/PhD holders: Additional relaxation. Assistant Professor: No upper age limit. | Master’s degree with ≥55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD). Candidates in their final year can apply. Degrees must be from UGC-recognized universities. |

Q1. How many times can I attempt UGC NET?
No limit for Assistant Professor. JRF candidates can apply until age 30 (relaxations apply).

No. Only correct answers are awarded marks.
