Stage 1: Shortlisting based on JEE (Main) 2026 CRL
• Naval Headquarters fixes a cut-off rank based on the JEE (Main) 2026 All India Common Rank List (CRL) published by NTA.
• Candidates with CRL rank equal to or below the cut-off rank are shortlisted for the SSB interview.

Upon commissioning as a Sub Lieutenant, you will be placed in Pay Level 10 — ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month, plus Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹15,500 per month and various allowances (DA, HRA, transport allowance, etc.). The total gross monthly salary can range from ₹1.10 lakh to ₹1.25 lakh approximately.

8. Is there a separate written exam conducted by Indian Navy for this entry?

No. For the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme, there is no separate written examination. Shortlisting is based entirely on JEE (Main) 2026 CRL rank published by NTA. After shortlisting, the selection process involves SSB interview and Medical Examination only.
