In addition, you must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized university in one of the following: ⁕Engineering/PG Degree: M.Sc / B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Systems, Cyber Security, System Administration & Networking, Data Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence. ⁕MCA: Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with a bachelor’s degree (BCA or B.Sc in Computer Science / Information Technology). ⁕Final Year Candidates: Students in their final year of the qualifying degree are also eligible to apply. ⁕There is NO written examination for this recruitment. The selection is a multi-stage process that evaluates your academic record and officer-like qualities
Phase 1: Application Shortlisting The Indian Navy will shortlist applications based on the normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree. Performance in 10th/12th (especially English) will also be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the next phase.
Phase 2: SSB Interview Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview.
