Junior Engineer (Civil)
Diploma Holders:
 A three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/University with minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) + 2 years of post-qualification experience.
Degree Holders:
 A Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) + 1 year of post-qualification experience.
Junior Engineer (Electrical)
Diploma Holders: 
A three-year Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) + 2 years of post-qualification experience.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website
Go to the official RBI website: www.rbi.org.in.
Step 2: Navigate to the Recruitment Section

Step 3: Find the Correct Recruitment Link
Under “Current Vacancies,” click on the link titled “Recruitment for the Post of Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) – Panel Year 2026.”
Step 4: New Registration
Click on the “Click here for New Registration” link. Enter your basic details (Name, Mobile Number, Email). A provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and sent to your registered email and mobile number.
Step 5: Fill Out the Online Application Form

Selection Process and Examination Phases/RBI JE Recruitment 2026

Phase 1: Online Examination (CBT)
This is a computer-based test that all eligible candidates must take. It is the first and most crucial filter.
Phase 2: Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Candidates who qualify for the online exam will be called for a Language Proficiency Test. This is a qualifying test only. It will assess your proficiency in the local language of the specific recruitment zone you applied for.
Phase 3: Document Verification & Medical Examination
Candidates who successfully clear the LPT will have their documents verified for eligibility. A medical examination will also be conducted to ensure the candidate is fit for the job.
